Description
Phra Khun Phaen with Red-Eyed Phra Ngang
Wealth and Prosperity Edition (B.E. 2549 / 2006)
Blessed by Luang Pu Key Kittiyano, Wat Sri Lam Yong, Surin Province
The Phra Khun Phaen amulet with a red-eyed Phra Ngang image on the reverse is a powerful sacred object rooted in ancient Khmer esoteric traditions that date back nearly a thousand years. For centuries, hermits and accomplished masters of the old Khmer kingdom created and empowered Phra Ngang images as supreme talismans of charm, compassion, fortune, and attraction. This amulet represents the continuation of that lineage, authentically consecrated by Luang Pu Key Kittiyano, one of Surin Province’s most respected contemporary masters.
Materials and Sacred Composition
This amulet was meticulously created using a highly auspicious blend of materials, including:
-
108 sacred herbal powders, prepared according to ancient formulae
-
Teak wood powder, traditionally associated with stability and protection
-
Sacred minerals and ritual elements
-
Sprinkled gold filings, symbolizing wealth and merit
-
Sacred hair relics, incorporated during consecration
-
Two silver takrut amulets, enhancing both durability and spiritual status
Each element was selected to harmonize spiritual energy and physical form, ensuring balance, completeness, and potency.
Sacred Origins and Symbolism
Phra Khun Phaen is traditionally revered for its influence over loving-kindness, popularity, authority, and success in life and commerce. When paired with Phra Ngang, especially the rare red-eyed form, the amulet’s qualities are intensified. Phra Ngang is renowned as one of the most potent charms for attraction and compassion, believed to enhance personal magnetism, improve relationships, and draw prosperity and opportunity.
The red eyes of Phra Ngang symbolize awakened power and active spiritual force, indicating an amulet intended not merely for display, but for practical spiritual use by those who approach it with respect, discipline, and faith.
Grand Consecration Ceremony
In B.E. 2549 (2006), Luang Pu Key conducted a major Buddhist consecration ceremony, invoking and empowering the amulet through the four elements—earth, water, wind, and fire. This complete elemental consecration is believed to give the amulet stability, responsiveness, and enduring sacred power.
Only 1,999 pieces of this edition were created, making it a limited and increasingly scarce issue. This example is unused, in excellent condition, and comes directly from the temple with its original box, preserving its authenticity and spiritual integrity.
